Captain Reynaldo Rubalcava

Rey Rubalcava was born in Texas and raised in Washington State. At an early age his curiosity and love for the water led him to the state of Alaska for exploration and adventures. There he became a commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea, Aleutian Islands and Gulf of Alaska. Becoming a Captain of a fishing vessel introduced Rey to many opportunities to explore places that only a hand full of people will ever see or set foot on.

Rey had a desire and passion to spend more time in the culture (and warmer climate) of Hawaii. This motivation led him to the great Island of Hawaii and Kona; there he found the Miss Mojo and decided to make her part of his future. Rey’s love for the water, fishing and meeting new people has cemented a future in the town of Kailua-Kona. He looks forward to having new adventures of the warmer kind for many years to come onboard the Miss Mojo, on Sport fishing trips, or snorkeling adventures with you.
